HiveWatch and Verkada Partner to Deliver Flexibility, Scalability to Customers
Integration between Verkada video and access control hardware and HiveWatch® GSOC OS provides greater options to security leaders
El Segundo, Calif., April 2, 2024 — HiveWatch, a physical security software company reimagining how organizations keep their people and assets safe, announced today it has integrated its HiveWatch® Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Operating System (OS) with Verkada’s access control and video security solutions. This integration allows Verkada customers to bridge the gap between existing investments in legacy infrastructure and the purchase of new Verkada hardware, using the HiveWatch® GSOC OS to bring together the disparate systems as an organization scales.

Within the HiveWatch® platform, users can now stream live and alarm-related footage from Verkada cameras, along with access-related events in a single, easy-to-use platform alongside other existing data streams. Leveraging Verkada’s streaming APIs means that HiveWatch customers do not need additional hardware, further enhancing scalability. Centralizing the management of multiple video and access control feeds allows GSOC operators and security leaders the ability to quickly and efficiently respond to emerging incidents.
Additionally, Verkada customers can now leverage the all-in-one easy-to-use and deploy HiveWatch® GSOC OS to:
- Reduce false alarms
- Provide performance metrics and analytics
- Centralize the storage of security resources (standard operating procedures, device data, floorplans, etc.)
- Streamline incident management and response
- Optimize communication between operators and field resources (like guards)
- Manage guard patrols and field-reported incidents
- Dispatch localized emergency response (e911)
